Der Roundtable Human Rights in Tourism ist die zentrale Brancheninitiative zur Förderung menschenrechtlicher Verantwortung in der Tourismuswirtschaft. Als internationales, gemeinnütziges Netzwerk bringen wir Reiseveranstalter, Verbände, NGOs, Institutionen und Zertifizierer zusammen – mit dem Ziel, unternehmerische Sorgfalt entlang der touristischen Lieferkette wirkungsvoll und praxisnah umzusetzen. Mit aktuell 41 Mitgliedern aus acht Ländern wirkt der Roundtable in die Branche hinein – über nationale Grenzen und gesetzliche Pflichten hinaus.

Mit konkreten Tools, kollegialem Austausch, strategischer Orientierung und Zugang zu einem breiten Netzwerk von PartnerInnen – auch in Destinationen des Globalen Südens - unterstützen wir Reiseunternehmen dabei, menschenrechtliche Sorgfalt sinnvoll in ihre vorhandenen Strukturen zu integrieren.

The Roundtable Human Rights in Tourism is the central industry initiative for promoting human rights responsibility in the tourism industry. As an international, non-profit network, we bring together tour operators, associations, NGOs, institutions and certifiers with the aim of implementing corporate due diligence along the tourism supply chain in an effective and practical manner. With currently 41 members from eight countries, the Roundtable has an impact on the industry beyond national borders and legal obligations.

With concrete tools, collegial exchange, strategic orientation and access to a broad network of partners – including in destinations in the Global South – we support travel companies in meaningfully integrating human rights due diligence into their existing structures.
